All requests will be acknowledged upon review. Please note there is approximately a two-month lead time necessary for review of the requests and distribution of funds.
Policy Statement:
The intent of the donations program is to support the community in which we live and work, and to provide visibility for the Cripple Creek & Victor Gold Mining Company, our operations and our employees. Decisions regarding donations requests will be made based upon the approved purposes and criteria.
Decisions regarding donation requests will be made based upon the following purposes and criteria. Please describe how your request furthers these purposes and meets the criteria.
Purposes of Donations
1. To gain maximum, positive, public and community exposure and goodwill for CC&V.
2. To gain allies for CC&V and the mining industry.
3. To reach out and help as many in need as practical.
4. To benefit the community and counties in which Team Members live.
5. What is the benefit of this donation to Cripple Creek & Victor Gold Mining Company and its employees?
Criteria for Approval of Donations:
Donations will be considered for individuals representing CC&V, and organizations, clubs, societies and associations that benefit the community where CC&V employees live and work. Describe how your request meets this criterion.
Sponsorship for adult sports teams must be comprised of at least 75% current Team Members. List Team Members participating or N/A.
Donations must deliver a high degree of credible visibility for CC&V. Requests must include information regarding proposed publicity of the donation. How will a donation be publicly recognized?
-Requests given primary consideration will be given to donations that directly contribute to or impact CC&V, directly aids employees and their families, directly aids organizations that CC&V works directly with, and/or directly aids the primary communities of Victor and Cripple Creek.
-Secondary consideration will be given to donations that aid the secondary communities of Teller County or Fremont County.
-Tertiary consideration will be given to the following types of requests: aid to Colorado or National organizations, other natural resource groups and broader causes.
